What is satin-silk made from?

For the manufacture of silk satin fabric threads, raw materials such as mercerized natural cotton are used. The fibers undergo a special treatment, due to which a characteristic luster and strength are acquired. It consists in soaking cotton threads in a special solution with alkali, and then in an acid mixture.

In fact, silk is an alternative to natural satin fabric, which has a high value. Not everyone can afford silk, and it is usually bought for tailoring smart clothes - an extremely inappropriate textile of this class for everyday clothes. Satin material is widely used for everyday wear, while drawing products no less beautiful and elegant. This fabric is easy to recognize by its delicate sheen, softness, and lightness. Things sewn from satin-silk fabric are written very subtly.
